week 10 internship

WEEK 10
For the first day of this week, I was asked by Miss Che to look for 60 plus songs for scoring purposes. This research was for the different videos they were editing for Channel V. she asked me to look for Pop, Rock, RnB and Trance or House music. At first, I thought it was easy. But when I was in the middle of the research, I realized that it was tiring to check and look for the information for each song I was able to get. The information researched included the song title, genre, artist name and the album. The album part was the most difficult because some had none, and some are not to be found easily. I stayed for only 5 hours and 30 minutes because I got tired.
I did the same thing in the following day. I practically spent the entire day looking for what she asked me and I did it while I was inside the Channel V Editing Room.
Wednesday was my last day as an on the job Trainee at Channel V. This was also my last day to fulfill the entire OJT required hours. The highlight of this day was when we covered the Jukari Fitness Demo at Gold’s Gym Timog. Just like any other cover days, I was with the Channel V driver, Harley the camera man assistant, Kuya Tengie the cameraman and Miss Che the executive producer. We covered the said event by taping the demo and by interviewing the important figures in the event. We were able to interview Kit Ha, the representative of Reebok since Reebok is having a tie up with Jukari in promoting its shoe line, and Vitana Shetty, the trainer and fitness instructor for Jukari. It was fun and it had lots of food, some are not that healthy but delicious. Madami ding artista mostly from Channel 2 like Rica Peralejo, Desiree del Valle and many more. After that cover, we went back to Channel V and I finished all the works assigned to me. After which, I distributed my evaluation forms to Miss Che, Miss Jo and Miss Kate so they could evaluate me before I leave. After getting the evaluation forms and the Certificate of Completion, I bid goodbye to the editing people, the HR staff and the head Mr. Sky Limbauan and left Channel V. I was happy that I finished my internship but sad at the same time because my experience there was something that was new to me. I learned a lot in my 50 plus hours of stay and I became friends with the staff. I hope that someday I can still see them and eventually work with or for them.
