Week 1 at TV5 (Chamy)

We* decided to do half of our internship at TV5 (still ABC5 for bus and jeepney drivers at Novaliches). The travel is obviously (sigh) but it's different, so yes, it's okay.

There's not so much action the first week. We were hoping to be assigned at PO5, or Cook Off, or Talentadong Pinoy, or Totoo TV but never Face to Face. But guess where we landed? (Please don't laugh. haha.)

Anyway we're just making the most out of the situation. Poke our noses at those nice and expensive equipment, stay at the control room and see how the director does it, ask lots of questions to the head PA to learn of course, eat free meals, and get free waffle and zagu.

What amazes me is the big big difference and power an established institution has than an independent one like where we worked before. Sa F2F, lahat ng trabaho may isang taong siguradong gagawa. And so we find it hard to really assert ourselves as interns because they really don't need one any way. It's sad that we weren't allowed to do outside shoots (which meant more fun and work), so we torture ourselves with the cold aircon and major major nothing to do. This is 100000times different from IMC work. :|

But the following week some of our dreams came true. Hihi.
