10-hour internship (7th week)

This week, I still continued doing the Smart Wap which I’ve been doing for the past two weeks, not only because there’s really a lot of songs to set codes for downloads but also because of the internet connection problem. There were times that the server went offline so we couldn’t continue our work.


This is the first week that I’ve tried to spend my internship from 10 in the morning until 8 in the evening. Also, I was tasked this week to set the series for each handset in MyGlobe Handset List as of March 2010. I had to indicate whether the handset is a series 40 or series 60 phone depending on its features (i.e. wallpaper, truetone, video, polytone, etc.) and delete other list of handsets if they happened to be repeated. Initially, the list had more than 1, 000 handsets. But as I finished my internship for Friday, the complete, defined series of handset list became 639. I realized how productive I can be in seating in front of the monitor for 10 hours. Productive yet immobile.
