8th week internship

This week had my last day at the GMA NMI and my first day the Channel V Philippines. I took advantage of the moment to take some pictures sa GMA since I wasn’t able to have some starting from day one. For my last hours, I continued what I was doing lastMonday. Aside from the research thing I did, I uploaded for the last time, the WAP entries in the WAP site. I also completed the requirements of GMA so I can get my clearance.
In the afternoon, I went to Channel V Philippines to start my remaining 50 hours there. By the time I arrived, I was assigned to Miss Kate, then to Miss Che Che, who is from UP CMC Journalism department. When I was assigned to Miss Che che, I was clueless regarding the task I would be asked to do. After several minutes of waiting to be asked, I was told to prepare since where going to cover an event in Makati. This delighted me and made me excited. So we went to the One Night Only: the Levi’s Bachelorette Party at Picasso building. We stayed there until 10 pm and we covered the posh gathering of extra fabulous ladies in their levi’s denim pants. It was my first time to experience covering an event and I was asked to prepare the questions for the ladies interviewed. We were able to interview the Brand Managers of Levis as well the lady editors of Summit Media and other fashion websites like stylebible.ph.
My second day at Channel V was also great. I am very glad that Miss Che-che liked my performance in my first day and she requested me to be a part of the cover for this day. She asked Sir Sky regarding my transfer from Wednesday to Friday.
My second day was equally fun but much tiring than the first event. We went to the Manila Design Week Event at the Cubao Expo and we covered the event. We shot and interviewed the people in their artsy attires and also the performers including Imago, Razorback, Sino Sikat? and Up Dharma Down. It was fun and a new experience for me. I was able to do things that are different from the focus I had at GMA NMI. Nakakloka lang ang fun ad excitement.
