This week is my 3rd week of internship. I did a shotlist of the raw footage of Calatagan, Lago De Oro Wakeboarding Event. I enjoyed watching the videos because I'm into extreme sports and I've always wanted to try out waveboarding.
The interesting (yet very frustrating) thing happened to me towards the end of the week. I was already in my MBB class when one of the videographers texted me that I can join them in their coverage for Lago De Oro's 2nd wakeboarding event. All expense paid, and we get to go wakeboarding for free! And they asked me if I could be their model for the event :))- well this one, I'm not really sure. Haha! But I seriously wanted to go! I was supposed to meet up with them, I was so ready and I got home at once to fix my things. I just had to meet them somewhere because they already left. Everything was so exciting and going according to plan until... the production manager called and told me that I couldn't go. I couldn't go because they wouldn't allow me to just meet up with them somewhere. The team has to leave as one (for safety purposes). So there. My world crashed (or at least that's what it felt like that time), and I just had to accept that life is just so unfair.
I hate... no wait, hate is an understatement. I abhor the fact that we had to do this internship this semester. I could have gone wakeboarding to Calatagan already or I could have joined them on their trips to different provinces... if only I didn't have class. Boo. Sorry, I just had to rant.
