I just finished my first week in DZUP and my first day in Net 25.
Although I see familiar faces, I was a bit shy at first. Nangangapa din ako kung ano ba ang mga dapat kong gawin. But so far, I enjoyed my first week of internship in DZUP. The studio is a lot better than the Radio studio of CMC and the audio console in DZUP is digital, sosyal!
Today I also officially started my internship in Net25. I was assigned to Homepage, a daily mid-morning news magazine show of Net 25. I was introduced to the director, writers, and production crew. The writers of Homepage (they are young, I think they’re just in their mid-20s!) interviewed me. When they found out that I’m from UP, their expressions changed a bit. Na-intimidate ata sila lalo na noong nabanggit kong producing/directing and track ko. They started to talk in a sarcastic tone. They One of them said things like, “ah, dito sa amin, nagtitimpla din kami ng kape kahit writers kami” and “siyempre sa baba ka muna magsisimula kasi kahit kami gusto din naming maging director.” It’s as if they think na masyado akong nagmamalaki—which is absolutely not my intention when I mentioned my area of concentration! They’re taking it the wrong way. They interviewed me and I was just answering their questions. But I didn’t let this incident ruin my day. I was asked to translate an article and write a script based on it. Although I’m not fond of writing, I still gave it my best shot.
