Week 3 (still)

Remember Roe from Sabi Ko, Sabi Niya? She's very bubbly as a co-host to Sheik, and gives a lot good insights on the show. Because I usually assist for SKSN, I noticed while watching them do their live program that they have a great way of making their guests feel comfortable, episode after episode. But back to Roe, she was doing Himigsikan alone after one of the SKSN episodes, so I asked if I could assist her. I saw the contrast between how lively she is on SKSN, how serious she was on Himigsikan, and how softspoken she was when you talk to her off-air. I guess I was just surprised at how well she gets into character for her respective programs, whether it's to host one live with different guests every other day, or to do short spiels para sa musika ng mapanuring lipunan. I really enjoyed the time I spent getting to know her different sides.

Moving on, Trivia 10 hosted by kachikang Rachel and kachikang Audrey is SUCH A BLAST TO LISTEN TO. I'm EP Alexis' assistant for the program and we were laughing the entire hour on our side of the studio. Alexis shares that all she has to do is give the script to her hosts, at bahala na silang lagyan ito ng kulay. And they do so with much gusto that the program is so natural, and consequently relevant to the listeners (at least from my pov.)

The past few days, I've also volunteered as TD for A-List so that there can be two hosts on the show which makes it more lively. I was surprised myself that some of the Korean (or Chinese? Or Japanese?) songs on the show were more than vaguely familiar to me. I guess the Asian invasion really is here! And I have to admit, they make it a pretty fun show too. Looking forward to more of that as I finish my last few weeks at DZUP.
