For this week one of the Segment Producers of 'Umagang Kay Ganda' asked me and my co-intern Jackie to be models for a product placement segment for 'Maxipeel'. Well of course we could not say no haha! because she also asked our Executive Producer about it. So during the shoot we were asked to use products of 'Maxipeel'. I don't really use this product so I was a bit concerned if it will have an effect on my skin, so I made sure to wash my face excessively after the shoot. We were hoping that no one could see this segment because it was a bit embarrassing haha! but I admit we also had fun. Well we were not paid but were given all the the products of 'Maxipeel'. As I have said I don't use this product so I just gave it away to my bosses.
Well aside from this shoot we really did a lot of transcribing and research for the next
episode. I am thankful that my bosses really wants us to learn how things are done. Like the time coding of the transcriptions for editing and the re-time coding for the final cut of the episode. I also learned the techniques on how to get information from institutions and people for we were the ones who directly contacts and asks information for the episode.
We also had a chance to meet Bernadette Sembrano as she visited our office. Well she is really
humble and friendly. During our break we also visited the shoot of 'Wowowee' didn't know that they tape episodes for it was 7 PM when we went to their shoot and I was amazed at the wonders of the camera for their set is so small and not that pleasing to the eyes but on TV it really looked spacious and good.
