For this week we covered live the inauguration of our President and Vice-President. It was such a an overwhelming experience to be at the Quirino Grandstand and to be a part of this event. Even though we have not registered as an accredited media for that event we were able to be in a position where all the big networks were.
We even had an opportunity to have a picture taken with Ces Drilon of ABS-CBN. At first we thought that we have not delivered the
news successfully because we just used a cellphone and a recorder to transmit the speech of President Noynoy Aquino live at DZUP 1602. But when we got back to the station we were really surprised that they were all congratulating us for the great coverage. Even Ma’am Rose Feliciano said that we did a good job. They also said that our coverage was aired earlier than the coverage of TV networks.
We also got a lot of good comments from Filipinos abroad who have listened through our live streaming online. This coverage will be an experience that I will never forget. I was also able to take pictures of some prominent people who makes the showbiz and political industry. In general it was really exhausting but would not have a thought of not doing it over again.:) After that I was asked to be a guest at 'May Punto Ka Dyan' to share the experience of the event to our fellow listeners and also to tell the reaction of the crowd at the event.
