2nd WEEK (JUNE 22- JULY 2) RADIO INTERNSHIP

If last week i didn't feel any adrenaline rush, this week i felt like... HELL. the works I've done last week is incomparable with the things i did for this week.
Monday (june 22), starting 11 am, i was already at the station. i negotiated with the EPs of Rakenrol, Kayumangging Kanta Klasik and Sabi Ko, Sabi Niya to allow me to do the time log. at first i thought it is so boring to stuck myself up in the TD's booth for almost 4 hours doing nothing but looking
at the console and writing what time a particular PSA or PLUG was played. but thinking of the 34 hours that i need to work out and fulfill for DZUP internship, the dull idea of logging appeared to be very brilliant. and so with my determination, last Monday i was able to work for 9hours.
but my
Monday work is not
hing compared to my Wednesday work, which is obviously the highlight of my week. i, together with Emma and Gelik,
covered the inauguration of the 15th Philippine president, Noynoy Aquino and vice president, Jojo Binay. at first i thought that it is all right if Sir Edge or Ate Thess won't credit my hours of coverage since i am really not the student intern of May Punto Ka D'yan!
all i really wanted was to cover the said event to become a part of Philippine history. crediting my hours of covering the inauguration will just serve as a bonus for me. at the end of the day, Sir Ed
ge told us that ma'am rose liked our coverage and that we did well.
and with that, we asked sir edge if our work will be credited, he said yes starting form the hour we woke up, up to the time the street party ended. good thing i woke up, 3 in the morning and the party ended at 11 in the evening. with that, 20 hours of work for DZUP was credited for me. it may be a very tiring day but it is undeniably fulfilling and amazing.
My passion and dedication for the inauguration coverage are indeed evident in my skin tone right now. (laugh) not everyone is given this every-six-year opportunity to witness the highest power and position conferral in the Philippines.
