FIRST WEEK OF INTERNSHIP

It’s a great privilege to be a part of one of the biggest networks in the Philippines, GMA Network. I'm part of the Techno Creative Department at GMA New Media.


On my first day, I was assigned to be part of the "Musical Scoring Team." For the first week, I was tasked to edit 44 songs for ring back tunes. Honestly speaking, I had a hard time editing some of the songs because aside from the fact that they’re fast and upbeat, these songs are in Spanish and Korean languages. But I enjoyed doing it. I also saw Roxanne Barcelo of GMA 7’s Batang Bibbo. And I realized that it’s still an overwhelming experience to see an artist right in front of you. I am also thankful that the people in our team are very nice and friendly. The atmosphere is very welcoming. So it helps me a lot to adjust and work with them comfortably.


DZUP 1602
I’m an intern for the program A-List every 4-5 in the afternoon.


I’m still adjusting to the environment. Actually, it was my first time to enter the DZUP studio. Good thing that most of my co-interns were there during the 4-5 PM program this week. I helped the technical director to log the running time of each song, psa, plug, OBB, and CBB of some DZUP programs on-air this week. My first week of internship in DZUP was fun! I get entertained and almost never noticed the time as I listen to the programs.
