So long DZUP.

START: June 22, 2010
END: July 5, 2010
AKA: 2 Weeks

It's pretty fast for people still without outside internship like me. (Hi Pao!)

The work I've been doing for DZUP from time immemorial was "freelance". I made playlists, fan pages, looked for guests and coordinate almost everything with everyone whenever needed. As in literal na kahit saan, that's why hours just keep on coming. The interns pretty much gave reasonable work and some of them does not really require you being physically there. All I needed was internet and cellphone.

Since I made it out alive fast, I'll just put my highlights in this one blog.

JUNE 22-25
I'm a regular Katropa at Tropang Rad'Yo since DZUP's re-launch last Feb 1, and once a week we get to go on board and talk about everything under the sun with Katropang Jane or with guests. Last June 22, with interns Earl and Faeska, we (Dale and Jedd from CommRes) talked about homo love with friendly guests from Samaskom. With crammed topic points and questions, we still managed to have a fruitful conversation which resulted to more questions even during the breaks. I did find out a lot about the topic and had fun because the guests were passionate and witty all throughout the program. It made my respect for them go higher one level.

JUNE 29-JULY 5
Highlight of second week (aside from knowing Joey Ayala because of his songs), is Ma'am Mel assigning me, sometime earlier this week, as her co-host for Usapang Midya, Radio Iskool's new program every Tuesday, 6-7pm. It's been a long time since 102 and I would definitely want to get a close encounter, again. HAHA. Anyway, during a meeting later I declined because my 50 hours is already done. So sa next batch, I hope someone volunteers to be her co-host nalang. Kasi hirap syang humatak sa mga students nya. Kung trabaho at trabaho din lang naman, I've practiced time management a lot because PAs in Radio Iskool are really busy. But nonetheless, I enjoyed everything.

That's all.
TV Internship naman, please be good to me.

Goodluck batch 2!
