Emma Manalac -Week 4 (July 19-23)

This week, I get the validation I need as an intern.
I remember this week the most. Two of my stories are going on air. Another one has been approved and is just waiting for another confirmation.

Dolls. Ate Lei, my favorite segment producer due to the simple fact that she’s very funny, asks me to give her ideas for her segment. The next day, she tells me that the team head likes my story but it still needs to be approved by the other heads. I wish it gets approved!

Banchetto. I overhear segment producers talking about “Banchetto.” That’s my story! That’s one of the first stories I pitched to Ate Shelly. It’s actually airing!

Cheese. Ate Teng talks to me for the first time. “Iha, intern ka diba? Pahanap na naman ng mga restaurant na may iisang theme parang bagoong club na lahat ng luto ay bagoong. At peanut butter house.” Okay. What are the other things that are like peanut butter and bagoong? Cheese! I type cheese and a story appears. There is a cheese restaurant opening at MOA. They are serving 5,000 different kinds of food with cheese, even coffee! There is no contact number. I call the only lead that I have – the organization of a certain club of culinary people. Fast forward, Ate Teng thanks me and invites me to the shoot so I can see the story I pitched.
