I had a bit of a heavy workload for my 5th week at GMA NMI. I transcribed 2 interviews and clipped about 30-35 videos of variety and telebabad shows. My clipping went smoothly because I’m already familiar with each show, the cast and the last episodes that have been aired. This week, I have found an easier way of formulating the short titles and descriptions for each show. Haha. It’s funny because it took me 3 weeks to really get a hang of these things. Hehe. Anyway, I figured that to make my work easier, I would just look for the juiciest and striking lines from a certain episode and my titles and descriptions would revolve around it. :))
I also transcribed the press conference of Kaya ng Powers, GMA’s new sitcom and interviews of some of its cast namely Rufa Mae Quinto and Elmo Magalona. I can say that my typing and listening skills were really put to the test this week. I was also able to practice my writing skills in the sense that I always had to think of something new when I write the short titles and descriptions of the said shows. I had to make sure that I was able to summarize the highlights of a certain show and that it will arouse the interest of the audience so that they would go out of their way to check the videos that I clipped.
This week I just realized that no matter how routinary your work gets, you just always have to do your best. \nn/.
