SEPTEMBER 13 - TWELVETH DAY
Since Friday was a holiday, I can’t afford to be absent this day for internship. I badly need that 10 hours for today since my ID validation is applicable only until October 8. Meaning I really have to work on my remaining hours at GMA plus I also have another internship and that’s for radio and that’s another 50 hours. So I guess I have no choice but to end my internship at GMA as soon as possible (Oh, life sadness.).
So for today, Arianne and I went to the taping of Asar Talo. I actually thought we’ll be going to the taping of Bubble Gang but according to Ma’am Grace, there was no taping. So Ma’am Elai suggested we just go to the said taping instead. I was sure it was going to be fun because I was with Arianne. And true enough, as we were about to enter the studio, Edu Manzano was just behind us. He was greeted by Ma’am/Ate Jefflyn and as a courtesy, I also greeted him with a “sweet” good morning (HAHA. I smiled to him. Sorry na, FC much? HAHAHA. :D). And what really caught me off guard was that he smiled back so sweetly too and his good morning was so full of energy. Yaaaaay! GVs! :”>
And as we were on the set, Arianne and I had a great laugh while watching the production proper. The contestant was so “game”. We can’t help but be amused by her, though we felt a little sympathy as to how the audience bash her with criticizing comments. But oh well, that’s the rule of the game. Good thing, she walked away with a pot of money.
Back inside the studio, it was very very very cold [as in sooooobraaaaa!]. Arianne and I were asked to write some idiot boards. Plus, we were asked by the crew to do some errand works for them so we were able to go in-and-out of the studio. So in effect our bodies were moving and blood was circulating on our system. At least, at some point, I felt my hand was not numb with coldness. HAHAHA. We stayed there til 6pm only since I have to leave earlier. It was a great day! Thanks to Arianne and Edu Manzano for the GVs! <3 style="mso-spacerun:yes">

SEPTEMBER 15 - THIRTEENTH DAY
Today, there was no taping for Ma’am Moksha’s programs. That’s why I was sent to Ma’am Ella who’s handling other programs too. I was then sent to the taping of Hole in the Wall. As soon as I arrived, I was tasked by Sir/Kuya Harold to ask the celebrities for basic information for profiling.
So I was able to talk for awhile with Tado Jimenez, Dominic Roco, Mike Tan; they consist a group while the other one were composed of Gene Padilla, Maika, and Patani. And may I just say Dominic Roco and Mike Tan are just too hot and gorgeous. HAHA. Unfortunately, I was alone with them, that was why I wasn’t able to take a picture with them. Haay. I was too shy. Tsktsk.
After lunch, I was once again tasked to do the profiling for the other teams. And I was really relieved and happy at the same time since I was reunited with fellow interns in the program. My friend-slash-fellow UP intern Pam came together with Bea, an intern from the College of Saint Benilde (CSB). Anyway, Tuesday groups consist of Ryza Cenon and Kris Bernal against Rich Asuncion and Gwen Zamora. They are all really pretty. Plus I was a bit shocked when Kris Bernal borrowed my jacket for her casual picture since she was already dressed up with the Hole in the Wall silver overall. And then she sweetly thanked me after. I felt kinda astounded really. And I was once again attacked by my shyness, HAHA, believe me. I was too shy to take pictures with Kris along with her fellow celebrity players. Seriously, I still get star struck and shy approaching celebrities even though the encounters I’ve had in this program have all been pleasant.
Okay going back, soon after, Pam and I escorted the Tuesday group downstairs for briefing. And we stayed at the hallway waiting for other instructions. We were informed that the Wednesday (Izzy and Gwen of Sexbomb), Thursday (non-celebrities) and Friday (non-celebrities) players were already in the pantry. Since Ma’am/Ate Jefflyn was missing in action, we helped ourselves and got contracts from her green envelope. Ate Jefflyn has already given us permission of touching these things especially when she has to run to the other building for errands. It was nice having co-interns helping me out there.
After we got the third batch of players to sign the contracts, we were running back from the pantry to give the stuff to Ate Jefflyn who was finally back. And once again, I and Pam got the participants’ statistics. It was sort of chaotic having three sets of participants in the same room but we accomplished our work. Pam and I then lead the Thursday group upstairs to get dressed up and after which went back to the pantry for merienda. Since our main work was done, Pam and I pretty much chilled for the remaining hours of taping. Still, I did little errands like calling the lifeguards to the studio, looking for the floor director for blocking, calling PJ (the masahista) as requested by Ma’am Camille, the Executive Producer of Hole in the Wall and Bubble Gang and of course going to the crew pantry.
Indeed it was sweet being reunited with Pam again in the studio. It was really nice having others help me do the errands. It was a great internship day. Plus, another 10 hours down! :D

SEPTEMBER 16 - FOURTEENTH DAY
Today, since I don’t really go on Thursdays for internship, I was assigned to Love ni Mister, Love ni Misis. At the dressing room, I first met the Executive Producer of the show, Ma’am Rea. Before the start of the taping, I was asked to do some errand stuff for them. I also helped Ate Apple with the props and helped Sir Jake and Ma’am/Ate Cai on the idiot boards. After which, I had the privileged to chill a little. It was sooo cold in the studio. But it was of course SUPER FUN just watching over the taping. Zoren and Carmina are so perfect for each other. They really have that undeniable spark even on television.
The first taping was all about DOGS for the introduction of the new show, BANTATAY. This is an original story that revolves around a family who loves dogs. The guests include Gelli de Bellen (She is so kwela and loud. HAHA); Jennica Garcia (She’s tall and so slim but very pretty); Carl Guevarra (He is macho. HAHA.); Maybeline dela Cruz (She is so porcelain-skinned. Inggit ako. HAHA.); and of course Prince Stefan (OMG. He is sooo hot. Swearrr.). During the taping, I was asked to do some errand stuff so I went in and out of the studio. And Sir Dex (UP BC prof) upon seeing me was shocked to find out that I was interning for his show. It was kinda awkward since we’re not really that close especially after the break of the first taping since we were sharing the same seat. HAHAHA. Pretty awkward really. Plus Sir Jake, learning that I am from UP and knowing Sir Dex kept on interviewing me about him. They were lambasting each other. HAHAHA. It was nice seeing another side of Sir Dex. :D
And for the second taping, I was shocked when Ma’am Rea, the EP of the show asked me to act as a talent. This would be for the introduction of the show. I will act as a journalist who is then going to interview President Pnoy and former President GMA’s impersonators, Willie Nepomuceno and Ate Glo. Since the episode is all about fakes. I was of course hesitant but I’m afraid I was not allowed to say NO especially to the EP, right? So I said YES instead. HAHA. I was kinda nervous since there was Direk Louie Ignacio looking over the whole scene. But I was sort of relieved when the scenes for the two were only done in the first takes. Plus, Ma’am Rea along with the crew were teasing me that I can be a good talent. Of course I felt happy and flattered at the same time.
It was great working with the crew of this show. And yay to another 10 hours down! :D

SEPTEMBER 17 - FIFTEENTH DAY
It’s Friday and I was supposed to be at Mel & Joey’s taping but since there was no taping for today, I was sent by Ma’am Grace to assist Ma’am Elai of Party Pilipinas. I was asked then to proceed to Studio 6. And outside the dressing room, I waited for the crew. I learned that for today, there’ll be a pictorial.
I was then introduced to Direk Rico of Party Pilipinas. Inside the dressing room, I helped prepare the set-up of the shoot. I along with the crew tried to clean up the room. Then, Francheska Farr, the subject of the pictorial already came. She is tall and skinny. And I wasn’t acquainted with her. But I learned that she’s a budding singer and she’s part of Party Pilipinas. This pictorial was made in celebration of her 18th birthday. I know, looking at her I myself was shocked to know that she just recently turned 18. Oh well, she kinda look more mature than her age but I sort of have a feeling that she’s a sweet girl.
After a few minutes, Raymond Saldaña, the official photographer of the shoot, along with his assistant entered the room. My first impression of him is that he looks kinda serious but through the course of the shoot, he was really very encouraging, knows how to compliment and he had a very sweet smile. However, I really had a feeling that he was somewhat like a perfectionist. I sort of feel bad for Francheska then, since I just realized it was indeed really hard to be a model. The shoot took hours to finish plus the number of dress-changing sessions were there really to test one’s patience. I can say that pictorials are painstaking tasks as much as productions. Only in productions, more people are involved in them most of the time. However, at the end of the day, what matters is the passion and dedication of these people to create an awe-inspiring output.
Good thing I was exposed to this kind of pictorials, I had a lot of realizations. It was a great experience still. Plus another 7 hours down! :D
