My Week 10 at GMA 7

September 20 and 21, 2010 (Tuesday and Wednesday)

                Interns in GMA are banned to go outside to shoot yet I have done it in BORN TO BE WILD. The administration is strict but the program staffs are not.  For the second time, I was able to join the outside shoot of THE BEAT. We did what they call as MOTS or man-on-the-street interview but we use to say MOS with same definition. We went to Tomas Morato! Their shoot is just like our shoot. They had difficulty in convincing ordinary people to express their opinions on-cam except if those persons have hidden interests, of promoting their business. It’s an X-deal, as they say. However, the will-be-aired videos lie in the hands of the EP and PM. They decide what to and what not to include in the story disregarding what the researcher and the case study agreed upon. This instance discriminates the researchers because they are the one to be blamed by the case study.
