My 6th Week at DZUP
September 8, 2010 (WEDNESDAY)
Today we recorded the second batch of letters. This time, Ma’am Jo is back! She gave me additional task – to edit the letters or even just the first letter for tomorrows’ airing. She asked me to put some sound effects for it to be lively. I was astonished because it will be unnatural but still, I did. I am tired and bored of the errands I’m doing for Waispend. I can’t wait for the airing! I want to participate more in production than pre-production phase because the latter is just an application of my skills learned. I want to just learn more! Again, I was the director of the recording.
September 9, 2010 (THURSDAY)
Pilot episode of Waispend should be aired today but since the interview from the LTFRB guest is not yet properly edited, Ma’am Jo decided that the pilot episode will be more of chit-chats of the hosts about the new program, Waispend. I was tasked this time to traffic log and assist the technical director. The Production Assistants don’t let me hands-on because I’m not familiar with the new console in the DZUP booth. They let me observe how they operate it so that next time, I can. The first episode, I think, was just fine.
