My Week 7 at GMA 7
News and Public Affairs Department, Born to be Wild (BTBW)
August 30, 2010 (Monday)
Everyone is busy. They have lots of out-of-town shoots. Even the researchers accompany their Segment Producers (SPs) in the production. Perhaps BTBW has big budget because it’s a one hour show and demands latest equipments and human resources. The pre-production phase is boring but the production stage is exciting. You can go to different places, meet well-known people, discover more about the Philippines and its natural resources, you can recognize the value of loving the environment and most of all, be known and have more “rakets”. Just like Sir Karl, SP. He was invited to be a judge in Little Miss Environment held at Baguio City. Ate Rizza, a researcher and SP was invited to be an instructor in photography. Her prowess perhaps was known because of BTBW’s Macro Photography episodes. She was paid 5 thousand pesos for one day training. These opportunities inspire me to, someday, apply in BTBW.
