This week marks the start of my radio internship in DZUP. I was assigned to Ma’am Jo’s program entitled Gender-ation. This program tackles anything about gender and gender-related issues. Of course having learned that, I was kinda excited to do this and to hear the exchange of dialogues LIVE. However, when I entered DZUP, I learned from Faye that since Chi was not around, I will be accompanying her and Glenn to host the show, LIVE and ON AIR. I have no problem talking however talking on air is different. This will be broadcasted to a large audience that’s why I was kinda hesitant and nervous at the same time. But Faye and Glenn told me that there’s no reason to be fretful about it. And believing what both of them said, I agreed to host the show with them.
So the topic would be on “RELATIONSHIPS”. HAHA. SERIOUSLY? Why this topic? I can so not relate. HAHAHA. Kidding. Okay, I admit my last serious relationship with someone was far too long ago however besides that I believe I have a great deal to share when it comes to topic such as these. Since, I think myself being a social animal, more or less I have been exposed to the real nature of both men and women. So reading them is not so much of a bewildering task for me. I even find that quite amusing, really. That’s why I guess this is a sign – the program was destined for me. HAHAHAHA.
Okay back to the program, this show airs from 5pm to 6pm every Tuesday. And our special guest for the episode was Jose Miguel Paras, the boyfriend of Faye. It was really fun having a debate on-air with the boys (Glenn and Miguel) while I have Faye as a partner for this. Of course we justified why and how men and women differ on their handlings of relationships. I actually felt like we nailed them. HAHA. Sorry boys, good luck next time. We did have a great time, so there’s really no loser this time, right? Plus, we both acknowledged that men and women have their own strengths and weaknesses. And that in relationships, COMPROMISE is the most important thing when dealing with differences or conflicts. :D
