The highlight for my 3rd week at DZUP is the recording of the audio plug for my assigned program, "Wang-wang ng Bayan". Before this I met up with Sir Edgie to discuss the content of the plug. The people from NCTS are also constantly in the loop incase they have suggestions. Basically the plug had to feel urgent and this will be done with the use of the siren or wang-wang.
As for the 4th week, after coordinating with Sir Edgie and NCTS, I edited several versions of the plug and Sir Edgie chose one to put on air. I coordinated with Dr. Regidor, the director of NCTS, to schedule a meeting with Dean Tolentino for the contract signing and photo op. This got to happen as planned. I also coordinated with the hosts of the show and Dr. Regidor regarding their "rehearsal" on Friday. This rehearsal's goal was for the hosts to get the feel of the booth and how things are done in the station. This was done in the form of guesting. The hosts along with Dr. Regidor were guests at Sir Edgie's show, "May Punto ka Diyan". I chatted with the hosts before they went on air and answered some of their questions as it was their first time in the station. Sir Edgie had an exam that day and so Prof. Mel was the one who took over the show. I just coordinated with Sir Edgie via text. He informed me later on that I would have to re-record the audio plug and finalize the obb/cbb because the strip name has changed from Paninindigan to Advocacy. So this is my task for next week. Wang-wang ng Bayan is set to air this Wednesday (Oct. 6) and so we are all gearing up for that.
