Final, huh?

August 2, 2010- Monday

As we were all told that the DZUP internship schedule was already final, we were proved wrong. I received this e-mail from Sir Edge last weekend informing me that they just had a meeting with the DZUP faculty and that they have decided to change the entire scheme for this batch of interns. In his e-mail, he divided us into two. The first group was assigned to Mam Jo Santos while the latter was assigned to Mam Mel. I was assigned to Mam Jo. We were also given separate time with which we are to have our meeting. Ours was today at 4 PM.

During our meeting with Mam Jo, she informed us regarding the change of internship system, and told the eight of us that we were assigned to her since all of our free time matched with her assigned programs. She then divided us into groups of two wherein she assigned us to new programs. She told us that we are the ones responsible of the pre-prod aspect of these programs which are to be aired in September. This pre-prod stuff includes the program’s OBB, CBB, and merchandising plugs. However, as for me and Kim who were assigned to the program of the College of Home Economics, we are about to record our first pilot episode this coming Thursday with Chiz Escudero’s mom, Mrs. Eevie Escudero.

And so the meeting ended with all of us hoping that hopefully, this will be the final internship system.
